OROP: Justice Reddy Committee has submits Report on One Rank One Pension Press Information Bureau  Government of India Ministry of Defence 26-October-2016 18:14 IST Justice Reddy committee on OROP submits report  The one-man judicial committee on One Rank One Pension (OROP) submitted its report to the Defence Minister Shri Manohar Parrikar, here today. The Central Government had appointed the committee under the Chairmanship of Justice L Narasimha Reddy, retired Chief Justice of Patna High Court to look into the anomalies, if any, arising out of implementation of OROP. The judicial committee had held hearings at around 20 cities/towns across the country and interacted with cross sections of Ex-Servicemen as well as their associations. The committee also received 704 representations from individuals and various Ex-Servicemen associations and had held extensive interactions with all stakeholders before submitting its report. Notification issued by the Judicial Committee on OROP Date: 02.08.2016 New Delhi Government of India in Ministry of Defence, Department of Ex-Servicemen, constituted through is order dated 14.12.2015, a Committee to examine and make recommendations on references pertaining to the implementation of OROP scheme, framed by them. A public notice was issued on 13.04.2016, inviting representations from Defence forces, Pensioners/Family Pensioners, Defence Pensioners Associations by 29.04.2016 regarding anomalies, if any, in implementation of the scheme. The date of receiving representations was extended upto 15.05.2016.
