In some good news for defence pensioners, disbursing agencies have started releasing the Seventh Pay Commission arrears due to them. The amount released and the number of pensioners to be benefitted from this are still being calculated. According to a state-wise tabulation of the number of defence pensioners as on April 1, 2016, Punjab and Haryana lead the pack with 2,77,985 and 2,71,034 pensioners respectively. 7वें वेतन आयोग के भत्तों की देरी में छिपा है केंद्र सरकार के एरियर नहीं देने का गणित केंद्र सरकार का भत्तों की समीक्षा के लिए कमेटी गठित करने का निर्णय केन्द्रीय कर्मचारियों पर भारी पड़ रहा है। आयोग की सिफारिशों के लागू होने के बाद जो भत्ते बढ़ाए या घटाए जाने हैं उसकी समीक्षा के लिए जिस कमेटी का गठन किया गया था उसने अभी तक कोई निर्णय ही नहीं लिया है, जिसके चलते केन्द्रीय कर्मचारियों को आर्थिक नुकसान हो रहा है। क्योंकि कर्मचारियों के न्यूनतम वेतन बढ़ाए जाने पर तो उसका लाभ जनवरी 2016 से लागू होकर एरियर के रूप में मिलता है। लेकिन भत्तों के बढ़ने पर ऐसा कोई लाभ नहीं मिलता है। इस बार केन्द्रीय कर्मियों को पुनरीक्षित भत्ते लागू होने के बाद कोई एरियर नहीं मिलेगा।  सातवें वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशों पर सरकार ने एचआरए सहित कई भत्ते पुनरीक्षित किए हैं तो कई भत्ते खत्म भी किए हैं। कर्मचारी पुनरीक्षित भत्तों से संतुष्ट नहींं हैं। साथ ही खत्म किए गए भत्तों को वापस लागू करने की मांग कर रहें हैं। न्यूनतम वेतन बढ़ाने की मांग भी की जा रही है। कर्मचारियों की इन सभी मांगो की समीक्षा करने के...
