Seventh Pay Commission's Recommendations Not Acceptable: Government Employees

CHENNAI: Confederation of Central Government Employees on Wednesday said the Seventh Central Pay Commission's recommendations are "not acceptable" in view of the prevailing economic conditions, and threatened to advance by a week an indefinite strike to press their demand for revising the hike. "In the prevailing economic conditions, the proposed hike as per the Pay Commission is inadequate. It is not acceptable to us," M Duraipandian, General Secretary, Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers, Tamil Nadu, said. "If the government does not heed our demand (on revising the hike), we will be forced to advance the indefinite strike call to July 4 instead of July 11," he told reporters. Earlier, the confederation members staged a demonstration at Rajaji Bhavan in Chennai, home to several government offices. कैबिनेट ने सातवें केंद्रीय वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशों को लागू करने को मंजूरी दी पत्र सूचना कार्यालय  भारत सरकार मंत्रिमंडल  29-जून-2016 20:31 IST कैबिनेट ने सातवें केंद्रीय वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशों को लागू करने को मंजूरी दी  प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने वेतन और पेंशन लाभों पर सातवें केंद्रीय वेतन आयोग (सीपीसी) की सिफारिशों को लागू करने को अपनी मंजूरी दे दी है। इसे 1 जनवरी, 2016 से ही प्रभावी माना जाएगा।  विगत में, कर्मचारियों को पांचवें सीपीसी के समय आयोग की सिफारिशों पर अमल के लिए 19 माह और छठे सीपीसी के समय आयोग की सिफारिशों पर अमल के लिए 32 माह इंतजार करना पड़ा था। हालांकि, इस बार सातवें सीपीसी की सिफारिशें नियत तिथि से छह माह के भीतर लागू की जा रही हैं।  कैबिनेट ने यह भी निर्णय लिया है कि वेतन एवं पेंशन लाभों की बकाया राशि का भुगतान चालू वित्‍त वर्ष (2016-17) के दौरान ही कर दिया जाएगा, जबकि इससे पहले बकाया राशि के कुछ हिस्‍सों का भुगतान अगले वित्‍त वर्ष में किया जाता था।  उपर्युक्‍त सिफारिशों से 1 करोड़ से भी ज्‍यादा कर्म

It will come into effect from 01.01.2016. In the past, the employees had to wait for 19 months for the implementation of the Commission’s recommendations at the time of 5th CPC, and for 32 months at the time of implementation of 6th CPC. However, this time, 7th CPC recommendations are being implemented within 6 months from the due date. नई दिल्ली: मोदी कैबिनेट की आज हुई एक अहम बैठक में 7वें वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशों को लागू करने का फैसला किया गया है। सूत्रों के अनुसार, कैबिनेट ने सातवें वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशों से ज्यादा वेतनमान देने की मंजूरी दी है। वहीं बीजेपी प्रवक्ता शाहनवाज हुसैन की मानें तो कर्मचारियों को 23 फीसदी से अधिक की वेतन वृद्धि मिलने जा रही है। वेतन आयोग के अलग-अलग बिंदुओं पर चर्चा हुई है। सभी विषयों पर लिए गए निर्णयों को सम्मिलित कर नोट तैयार किया जा रहा है। आज शाम 5.30 बजे वित्तमंत्री अरुण जेटली इस बारे में औपचारिक रूप से बयान देंगे। जेटली ने एक बयान देकर सरकारी कर्मचारियों और अफसरों को बधाई दी है। उन्होंने इस बढ़ोतरी को ऐतिहासिक करार दिया है। एक अधिकारी ने कहा कि ग्रेडेड इंक्रीज इन बेसिक सैलरी पर कैबिनेट ने चर्चा की है। ऐसा माना जा रहा है कि अधिकतर लोगों के लिए 20 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी हुई है। कुछ पदों पर 25 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी पर चर्चा हुई है। मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, यह बढ़ा वेतनमान 1 जनवरी 2016 से लागू होगा। अब करीब 15-25 दिनों में सभी विभाग अपने अपने कर्मचारियों के वेतनमान तय कर लेंगे और कहा जा

करीब पौने दो साल की मशक्कत के बाद केंद्र द्वारा गठित सातवें वेतन आयोग ने जो रिपोर्ट सौंपी है उससे भारत सरकार के सैंतालीस लाख कर्मचारियों और बावन लाख पेंशनभोगियों को सीधे-सीधे लाभ पहुंचेगा। परंपरा के अनुसार मामूली बदलाव के बाद देश भर की राज्य सरकारें, स्वायत्तशासी संस्थान और सरकारी नियंत्रण वाली फर्म भी वेतन आयोग को अपना लेती हैं। इस हिसाब से इसका असर संगठित क्षेत्र के दो करोड़ से ज्यादा कर्मचारियों पर पड़ेगा। आयोग की सिफारिशें लागू होने से अकेले केंद्र सरकार के खजाने पर करीब एक लाख करोड़ रुपए का अतिरिक्त बोझ पड़ेगा। कर्मचारियों के वेतन में औसतन 23.55 फीसद और पेंशन में चौबीस प्रतिशत इजाफा होगा। पिछले सत्तावन बरस में सरकारी मुलाजिमों का वेतन 225 गुना बढ़ गया है। 1959 में दूसरा वेतन आयोग आया था, जिसमें न्यूनतम वेतन अस्सी रुपए था। अगर पिछले छह दशक की महंगाई पर नजर डालें तो वार्षिक वेतन वृद्धि दस प्रतिशत ही बैठती है। सातवें वेतन आयोग के अध्यक्ष सुप्रीम कोर्ट के सेवानिवृत्त न्यायाधीश एके माथुर ने इस बार कई भत्तों को मिला दिया है। न्यूनतम वेतन 18000 रुपए और अधिकतम 2.50 लाख रुपए (कैबि

Cabinet May Decide On 7th Pay Commission On Wednesday June 29

The Cabinet is likely to take up Seventh Pay Commission recommendations for government employees on June 29. Implementation of new pay scales recommended by the 7th Pay Commission is estimated to put an additional burden of Rs 1.02 lakh crore on the exchequer annually. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had in his Budget for 2016-17 provisioned Rs 70,000 crore towards Seventh Pay Commission awards, which is around 60 per cent of the incremental expenditure on salaries. The Pay Commission's recommendations are due from January 1, 2016. The central government constitutes the pay commission every 10 years to revise the pay scales of its employees. The Commission was set up by the UPA government in February 2014 to revise remuneration of about 48 lakh central government employees and 55 lakh pensioners.
