As per the norms followed by the Government, a pensioner’s account should not have more than 14 credit transactions in a calendar year attributable to pension and related arrear payments, if any. 2. Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said that the revised pay scales will be implemented from February 1 with retrospective effect from July 1, 2014. Decision to benefit lakhs of government employees, teachers and pensioners THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN 21: The Kerala Cabinet has approved the proposals of the 10th pay commission, which is expected to drill a Rs. 7,222-crore hole into the state exchequer. The decision will benefit lakhs of government employees, teachers and pensioners even as the state goes into polls in the next three months. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said that the revised pay scales will be implemented from February 1 with retrospective effect from July 1, 2014. Employers and pensioners will start getting their revised salary and perks with the February salary. The revision will be accompanied by a hike in dearness allowance of three per cent from January 1, 2015, and six per cent from July 1, 2015, thereby clearing all DA arrears to date.

Seventh Pay Commission: Revealed! Why Railway staff up in arms with govt

New Delhi, Jan 21: After Army men, now Railway staff have expressed disappointment over Seventh Pay Commission. Reportedly, Railway Union is upset with government and threatened for an indefinite strike on the issue. They have demanded that some of the recommendations of pay commission must be changed as it will not be beneficial for them. On Wednesday, the Northern Railway Men Union (NRMU) reportedly staged a protest against the BJP government over the issue. When asked why Union is not happy with CPC, Union line branch secretary Thakur Singh was quoted by the Tribune as saying , "We want pay commission report be rectified". He further demanded that old pension scheme should be restarted in place of new pension scheme. Another demand of Union is that "the minimum wage should be increased from Rs 18,000 per month to Rs 26,000." अमित अवस्थी: सातवें वेतन आयोग की सैलरी जल्द लेने की आस लगाए बैठे कर्मचारियों को सरकार बड़ा झटका दे सकती है।  सरकार सातवें वेतन आयोग की कुछ सिफारिशों को टाल सकती है । इसके तहत कर्मचारियों को सिफारिशों के मुताबिक मिलने वाले भत्तों को वित्तीय वर्ष 2016-17 में न देने के विकल्प पर काम शुरू किया गया है। इसके लिए वित्त मंत्रालय की ओर से सचिव स्तर की समिति गठित की गई है, जो केंद्रीय कर्मचारी संगठनों से इस दिशा में बात करेगी। वहीं, कर्मचारी संगठन आंदोलन की चेतावनी दे रहे हैं। गौरतलब है कि 19 नवंबर को सातवें वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशें सरकार को सौंपी गई थीं। सिफारिशों के मुताबिक कर्मचारियों के वेतन और भत्तों का अनुपात 1: 1.4 है।  यानी सिफारिशें लागू करने पर वेतन मद में 60,731 करोड़ और भत्तों के मद में 84,437 करोड़ खर्च करने पडे़ंगे। सूत्रों ने बताया कि वित्तीय वर्ष 2016-17 में सरकार इतने बड़े आर्थिक बोझ के लिए तैयार नहीं है।  सचिव स्तर की कमेटी गठित की गई है, जो तमाम केंद्रीय कर्मचारी संगठनों से वेतन, भत्ता मद पर पड़ने वाले असर पर चर्चा करेगी। इसके लिए रेलवे, रक्षा से जुड़ी यूनियनों
